Our Cancer Care Program

Cancer Care at Garnet Health Medical Center – Catskills focuses on treatment of the whole person.  The program continues to be distinguished by the excellent, compassionate care we provide to patients.

Our Cancer Care program provides treatment protocols for all types of cancers, as well as, access to new drugs usually available only at major cancer centers in New York City.

Medical Oncology Services

The Medical Oncology Program at Garnet Health Medical Center – Catskills provides a comprehensive range of services to inpatients and outpatients for all types of cancer, including:

Physicians and nurses review each patient’s record and clinical status very carefully before planning chemotherapy and other treatments. Dietitians and social service professionals are available to provide a wide range of support for oncology inpatients and outpatients.
