Bereavement Support Group
Garnet Health Medical Center – Catskills’ Bereavement Support Group provides a safe environment for people who are faced with the loss of a loved one. We meet on the 1st Thursday of the month at 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM at the Garnet Health Medical Center – Catskills Community Health Center (located in the RISE building) at 68 Harris Bushville Road, Harris, NY.
This nondenominational support group provides a judgment-free place to give and receive emotional support and validate your feelings during this difficult time. The group is a welcoming place where individuals who are grieving can fell that they belong. Participants will have an opportunity to exchange information as well as receive referral information to additional services.

Circle of Hope Support Group
A Support Group For Those With A Loved One Struggling With Addiction
Offered in partnership with ADAC, the Family of the Addicted Support Group is here to support you and your family as well as your loved one who is struggling with Substance Abuse Disorder. The group is here to help navigate resources and for information sharing along your journey and is designed to provide you with tools to break through the barriers faced by families of the addicted while assisting with recovery. The group will meet at the Garnet Health Doctors Urgent Care / Primary Care offices located at 38 Concord Road in Monticello the second Saturday of the Month.
Diabetes Discussion Group
The Diabetes Discussion Group provides education and support to those with Diabetes. This group meets at various dates and times throughout each month at Garnet Health Medical Center – Catskills in Harris. Emergency Care Institute
In honor of its commitment to the local community, Garnet Health Medical Center – Catskills has created an Emergency Care Institute. The Institute offers a series of free courses to assist local Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Paramedics in Sullivan County to meet their requirements for New York State certification.

Parkinson’s Support Group
The Parkinson’s Support Group meets on the fourth Wednesday of every month at 5:30 p.m. in the Board Room at Garnet Health Medical Center – Catskills in Harris. This group offers education and support for those affected by Parkinson’s Disease and their caregivers. Everyone is welcome. Stroke Support Group
Offering support for those affected by stroke and their caregivers. The group will take place the second Thursday of each month from 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. at Garnet Health Medical Center – Catskills’ Board Room located at 68 Harris Bushville Road, Harris, NY 12742.
The monthly group meetings will include special topics to provide support and encouragement to stroke survivors and family caregivers while connecting with other survivors and caregivers to share experiences, information and advice. Our focus is to promote a better understanding of stroke recovery, rehabilitation and prevention of recurrent stroke – and to improve communication and understanding among stroke families and caregivers.

Women’s Support Group for Survivors of Sexual Assault
Women’s Support Group is a confidential support group for survivors of sexual assault. Groups are closed to preserve confidentiality and build a sense of trust. New clients interested may contact Debbie at RISE to discuss group expectations and complete the screening process. If interested in attending, contact the RISE office at 845-794-3300 ext. 2442 for required enrollment assistance.
